This Thursday, October 8, 2020 at an event via remora Lisa Su, president and CEO of AMD, presented the new generation of Ryzen 5000 processors, which are prepared with the new Zen 3 architecture.
This line of 7 nanometer processors with a new core layout, new cache topology and lower latency times, offer up to 16 cores, 32 threads and 72 MB of cache in its highest version, the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.

It is important to note that AMD 500 series motherboards can be used with this new generation of Ryzen 5000 CPUs with a simple BIOS update. More than 100 models of AMD 500 series motherboards from major motherboard manufacturers will be supported. AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processors will be available worldwide on November 5, 2020.

Lisa Su did not want to leave out a preview of what the new “Big Navi” graphics cards will be, showing a couple of slides with data from Borderlands 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Gears of War 5 in 4K. This line of GPUS will be presented on October 28.
