The Japanese publisher organizes no less than ten hours of broadcasting of franchise-related concerts and gatherings for its tenth anniversary.
This April, the 10th anniversary of the birth of NieR is celebrated, a franchise considered cult in the past generation and which reached a much larger audience today thanks to NieR: Automata, with the collaboration of Platinum Games and under the direction of the peculiar Yoko Taro. To celebrate it properly, Square Enix will organize three different broadcasts on March 29, for a total of no less than ten hours combined between all of them, and two for a fee.
NieR's Japanese Twitter account gave all the details about these broadcasts, which will consist of the following:
NieR Theatrical Orchestra 1 20 20 in Tokyo, this being paid.
Stage Play YoRHa, also for a fee.
Talk Show on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of NieR, where fragments of the previous concert can be seen, this being free for all
Links to view the two paid streams are not yet available, although hopefully they will in the next few weeks, as well as details for the free stream. In the same way, who will participate in the Talk Show has not been specified, but whoever it is, what fans really hope is that we see news about the future of the franchise, undoubtedly fabulous after the success of NieR: Automata .
An announcement is being prepared this year
Earlier this year, the game's producer, Yosuke Saito anticipated that the franchise's 10th anniversary celebration would coincide with “a title to be announced,” something we hope will end with something concrete on the 29th of this month.
The now-defunct studio Cavia released the original NieR in April 2010, being considered by those who played it, as we said before, as a true cult game, to then go to the hands of Platinum Games, which launched NieR: Automata last year 2017 , being considered a candidate in many media and awards ceremonies for best game of the year.
