Season 2 of the series starring Henry Cavill will premiere in 2021, but the cast is slowly confirming.
The shooting of the second season of The Witcher has already begun. The first data on the production have been officially announced, which includes the main cast and the announcement that Vesemir, the veteran sorcerer, will be played by Kim Bodnia and not by Mark Hamill, as the rumors pointed out. It has also been revealed that the witch Lambert will be an old acquaintance of Peaky Blinders, actor Paul Bullion.
This has been announced by the official account of the series on Twitter, which has also confirmed other new faces, which will have their own role in the expected Netflix series season:
- Yasen Atour as Coen
- Agnes Bjorn as Vereena
- Paul Bullion as Lambert
- Kristofer Hivju as Nivellen
- Thue Ersted Rasmussen as Eskel
- Aisha Fabienne Ross as Lydia
- Mecia Simson as Francesca
Bullion, meanwhile, has been delighted with his participation in fiction, which continues the story of Geralt de Rivia in a world of fantasy and witchcraft.
News is out. I'll be bringing #Lambert to the screen in #TheWitcherNetflix

The movie, on the horizon
The continuation of Geralt's stories may take a while, but that does not mean that the saga will be missing during this year. It started with rumors, although the bad tongues that echoed in the end were right. The Witcher: The Nightmare of the Wolf will be an anime-like feature by the series team, with Lauren S. Hissrich, showrunner, at the helm. The adaptation to the animation will be carried out by Studio Mir, who have the Legend of Korra anime to their credit. For his part, Beau de Mayo, who also participated in the series, will take over the script. The film will narrate the beginnings of Vesemir in the worlds of witchcraft.
The Witcher of Netflix has become a great success for the platform, to the point that it is on its way to being the first most successful season of the platform.
