Users report problems in the Final Fantasy XV save system in Google Stadia

The Google Stadia community reports the inability to save the game from a specific game time in Final Fantasy XV.

Google Stadia has been the protagonist of the news during the month of November. The streaming service of the American giant suffered a non-problem-free launch, to which the controversy was added with the choice of games offered in the Pro subscription for the month of December. However, after the passing of days and the increase in users, other errors seem to have flourished, this time as far as software is concerned.

Users who have purchased Final Fantasy XV on the platform have begun to report the inability to save data during the adventure. According to the community in the official forum, there comes a point where the game throws an error message when trying to save game. This is what Devvon, the creator of the thread comments: “I have been playing Final Fantasy XV for 18 hours and suddenly the game does not allow me to save. I get the following error: ‘We could not save the game. The game will continue, but progress will not be saved. I have tried to restart the checkpoint, I have waited a while, and I have not achieved anything. I loaded other saved files and I get the same error ”.

The thread, which already has six pages full of complaints, has not been the only communication channel used. The Stadia subreddit has also begun to be plagued by users unhappy with the current state of the game on the platform. A Spaniard, named Marius_SG, posted a catch of the error:

All problems have a common denominator: having reached 10 hours of play. From that moment on, the save file tends to be corrupt. At the moment neither Google nor Square-Enix have officially pronounced. Recall that this version comes with new news in the minigames, so it is not trivial to find a fault that does not allow you to enjoy the full experience.
