The 2026 Senior TT on the Isle of Man was stopped on lap two and re‑slotted to Saturday at noon after officials deployed a red flag at the 11th‑mile milestone near Ramsey.
Leaders and incident specifics
Prior to the stoppage the race had been reduced to four laps and placed on Friday as the third event of the day, following Michael Dunlop’s wins in the Supersport and Sportbike TT.
Dean Harrison commanded the field, exiting the first lap twelve seconds ahead of Peter Hickman, while Joshua Brookes was positioned for a podium finish.
The red‑flag situation involved a rider who remained conscious, was speaking, and was transported by Airmed helicopter to Noble’s Hospital for further assessment.
Rescheduling and weather outlook
Organisers have moved the Senior TT to Saturday 12:00 local time, with the second Carole Nash Sportbike TT scheduled for 15:00. The Superstock TT, originally set for Saturday, now awaits a new slot.
Last year’s Senior TT was abandoned because of high winds; the most recent Senior TT victory came in 2024 when Davey Todd took the win.
