GRID – Season 2 introduces the Red Bull Ring, new events and more

Codemasters announced details about the second season in ‘GRID’, which will be used to launch the legendary Red Bull Ring, among other things. You can also look forward to new Track Day Supercars and 33 challenging career events.

In addition to an additional expansion of the career mode and the addition of the world-famous Red Bull Ring, six new cars are being added to the GRID, which are designed for both beauty and speed. Ultimate Edition players get the full content and there are numerous additions that will also be free for all players.

The range of new cars for the second season includes a breathtaking selection of exotic, powerful and groundbreaking machines, which were manufactured by the most famous vehicle manufacturers in the world. Ultimate Edition players will receive the Ferrari FXX, the Aston Martin Vulcan AMR Pro, the Brabham BT62 and the Pagani Zonda Revolución. In career and multiplayer mode, the Pagani Zonda is available to all players as a rental car. The Track Day Supercars package includes two other cars that are free for all players: the Ferrari 599XX Evo and the Ford GT Heritage Edition.

The Austrian Red Bull Ring has been an integral part of the World Motorsport Championships for 50 years. With its route, which has been relatively unchanged since 1996, the route is known for dramatic races with long braking zones and countless overtaking opportunities. The new racetrack is available to all GRID players in career, free spin and multiplayer modes.

The second season extends the career mode by another 33 events with the Red Bull Ring and four Track Day Supercars. Available for season 2 purchases or for owners of the GRID Ultimate Edition. Experience the handpicked selection of races with two new themes, new showdown events and the latest Ravenwest Motorsport challenge.

Season 2 of GRID starts on February 12, 2020.
