Through a publication on the official Fortnite blog, Epic Games has announced what will be the definitive start date of Season 2 of the Fortnite Battle Royale Battle Pass. Season 1 of the game has the days counted. Below you have all the information about it:
Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 2 start date
As we can read in the corresponding publication of the Fortnite blog of Epic Games, Season 2 will begin on Thursday, February 20. This day will arrive at patch 11.50 at Fortnite Battle Royale, which, in addition to the more than usual minor arrangements, will bring new content including this new season of the game.
As if that were not enough, through this update of Fortnite content, the physics engine will also be changed, since the new Unreal Engine Chaos engine will be used. In addition to this, there will be additional Extra Time challenges (at the time we write this news, those of Cura vs. Toxina, Blandito vs. Viscoso, and Bola 8 vs. White Ball) are active and an event that will last two weeks.
Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 1 has been active for more than 100 days
Season 1 of Fortnite Chapter 2 began on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, so that, as of January 24, 2019, the original publication date of this news, this season has been active for more than 100 days. This is the first time this has happened since Fortnite Battle Royale came out in 2017. Until then, each season lasted approximately three months.
When Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2 begins, the total duration of Season 1 will have been 128 days. The boredom among the community is palpable; just take a look at networks like Twitter or Reddit. If Epic Games wants this general perception to change, it is bound to make important changes, and even better, during this new season.
