From the night of this February 4, the Whirlwind Pokémon is available in Level 5 Raids. Here are our tips to add it to the team.
Pokémon GO is burning. We have rarely seen a flow of events and content as high as in this initial line of 2020, which reflects the great state of form of the title (2019 was its best year in revenue) and the desire of Niantic to continue expanding its installed base of players. Today we bring you our corresponding guide to face Tornadus in the Raids.
When and where is Tornadus available in Pokémon GO
As we like to do, let's start at the beginning: the dates. From this Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 22:00 to Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 22:00 CET (13:00 PST, GMT −8), Tornadus, the Whirlwind Pokémon from the Teselia region, will appear in Level 5 raids. This means that one of the members of the legendary trio of Generation V can already start to be part of our team, a fearsome Flying-type Pokémon that only super-affect Electric movements, Ice and Rock
Pokémon Go – Tornadus
Getting to know about Tornadus
As we anticipated, Tornadus is an imposing Pokémon, but not too difficult to defeat if we are well prepared. The Electric type is fundamental in this confrontation as designed in Pokémon GO, but we must be careful if it has a favorable climate (Wind). With the Whirlwind Pokémon a tower of 46,044 CP awaits us in its Avatar Form, with 266 ATK, 164 DEF and 188 HP.
You can attack us with Tajo Aéreo and Bite (better if you do it with the latter); while in the loaded ones it can attack us with four movements, computer of greater to enormous power: Hyperrayo, Gale, Loop Grass and Umbrian Pulse.
When we are done with it, its Level 40 Full IVs (100%) is 3345, so we recommend remembering this figure so that you know exactly what the perfect Tornadus is.
Best opponents to beat and capture Tornadus
Movements like Voltio Cruel, Avalancha and Alud are our choices for loaded movements, so this is the team of six that we recommend, in order of preference:
-
Rampardos with Antiaircraft and Avalanche
-
Raikou with Impactrueno and Voltio Cruel
-
Magnezone with Spark and Volt Cruel
-
Terrakion with Antiaircraft and Avalanche
-
Electivire with Impactrueno and Voltio Cruel
-
Mamoswine with Snow Powder and avalanche
