Another patent has emerged from Sony that describes an AI that will assist the player if he is stuck in a game.
Basically, the patent describes an intelligent mechanism to detect whether a player is in a “completely helpless” situation. In this case, the AI would look for and offer different solutions. The AI recognizes exactly where the player is currently and uses additional data to suggest what to do next.
To do this, the AI refers to existing in-game resources that either already exist or can also be supplemented via DLC, upgrades, tips, strategies, items, which in the end can also be microtransactions. Solutions that other players have already used can also be included.
How and where this patent will be used is not yet clear. There is also always the possibility that it will never find any real application.
