Daymare 1998, the project that was born as an unofficial remake of Resident Evil 2 by some fans and that finally became the survival horror that concerns us, already has a release date on PS4 and Xbox One after its original launch on PC in Steam and GOG last September 2019. This was announced by those responsible, confirming that their terrifying adventure and action video game will be available on desktop consoles on April 28, 2020. Thus, Daymare 1998 was born as a tribute to the golden age of the survival horror genre of the late 90s in the form of an unofficial remake of Resident Evil 2. On this occasion, the associated company Slipgate Studios has taken care of the console port of a video game that saw the light on PC last fall with the aim of bringing the best possible port of its original compatible version to PS4 and Xbox One.
The title will arrive both in physical and digital format on April 28; Meridiem Games, a company that has also confirmed the launch of a collector's edition for PS4 that includes a premium box, character cards, a set of stickers and a pack of pins, as well as a copy on the video game disc; At the moment there is no information of a similar edition for Xbox One.
