Street Fighter V Champions Edition: Capcom details all its content

The Japanese company goes into detail about what this new version of Street Fighter V includes, with a large number of additives in the form of downloadables.

With the imminent launch of Street Fighter V Champions Edition, Capcom wants to give the final boost to the fifth installment of the most iconic fighting saga ever, a delivery that as we remember, did not start with the best possible footing. For now, it will solve one of the big initial problems of the vanilla version: the lack of content. Right now we can enjoy a free trial to get out of doubt about this new one, and hopefully, definitive, version.

We already know the figures: 40 characters, including the last -Gill and Seth-, more than 200 costumes and 34 stages. Now, Capcom has taken a moment to let us know in detail all of them, publishing the entire list on the Capcom Unity blog, with all the costumes, characters and environments launched so far. It should be remembered that all of them will be included in this Champions Edition, although the costumes launched on the occasion of the Capcom Pro Tour or the Fighting Chance will not be.

This Street Fighter V Champions Edition will be available for 29'99 euros the next day 14 on PlayStation 4 and PC, being able to improve all those who already have the previous version for 24'99 euros.

Upward trajectory

It is precisely this large player base that has kept Street Fighter V alive since its launch there by February 2016, despite its large number of problems. In its premiere it sinned not only of the lack of mentioned content, but also of several online problems, both in its matchmaking and in the netcode, making the online competition a practically useless function.

All this would improve over time, giving more opportunities to get Fight Money, with which to buy characters and costumes, and above all, adding modes for a player. These would arrive in the form of an expanded Story Mode and above all, the beloved Arcade Modes with rewards in the form of conceptual arts.
