PayDay 3 should save Starbreeze now, publisher is being sought

Playfront

After the turmoil surrounding Starbreeze last year, the Swedish developer is again optimistic about the future and is focusing primarily on the PayDay brand.

PayDay 3 is now in development, the release of which is still a long way off, but this year you want to find a suitable publisher for it, as the current quarterly report states:

“Payday is the company's most important brand and we are looking for a good partner who offers financial stability and the marketing and sales resources necessary to enable the best possible introduction and further development of the product.”

The interest in the DLCs for the current PayDay 2 also shows that it is on the right track to be able to successfully publish PayDay 3. Support for PayDay 2 continues this year, hopefully on consoles that have been neglected so far.

The last comments on PayDay 3:

“I want to make it particularly clear that this project will enjoy as much time as we think it needs. It will be done when it is done. This is our most important single IP, a cornerstone of our business, which we treat accordingly. Future updates may be rare and far apart. You shouldn't rush PayDay 3. ”

PayDay 3 is not expected to be released before 2022/23.
