Fortnite - Patch 11.50.1 Notes: Changes and News

Epic Games has released patch 11.50.1 for Fortnite Chapter 2. We tell you what this new content update for Fortnite Battle Royale brings.

The 11.50 patch that arrived at Fortnite Chapter 2 last February 5 brought with it many problems, mainly that the weak points of the stage elements were not recorded correctly when collecting materials. Today, February 11, just one week later, Epic Games fixes this error through patch 11.50.1. This update also belongs to Season 1 of the Battle Pass. We tell you everything below:

The emergency update 11.50.1 arrives at Fortnite

Since it is not a patch as such, Epic Games has refrained from posting the patch notes on its official blog. This is an emergency update that has been applied to the versions of Xbox One and iOS and that, at the time we wrote this news, is also expected to reach the Nintendo Switch version.

The release of this update has been announced through the Fortnite Status Twitter account, an account that, as its name implies, is dedicated to publishing any update on the state of the game, such as patching.

From what we have been able to verify, the annoying bug that brought the implementation of the Chaos physics engine with patch 11.50 and that did not allow us to collect materials from the stage normally has been eliminated. Before, when trying to get materials by pounding any object with the beak, the game did not record well when we hit a weak point, which served to take less time to destroy that object and expedite the collection process. After the implementation of patch 11.50.1, this has been fixed.

We don't know anything else about this patch, beyond what Epic Games itself has commented through the Fortnite Status account. According to them, the purpose of this patch is to "correct stability problems", without specifying details.
