THQ Nordic and Gunfire Games are showing the launch trailer for the console release of ‘Darksiders Genesis’, which will be released this week.
In Darksiders Genesis, STRIFE can fight alongside his brother and comrade WAR, for the first time in KoOp mode. Solo players can switch between STRIFE and WAR in a jiffy, using the STRIFE and WAR melee attacks. The gameplay also includes fighting on the legendary horses of the two riders: RAMPAGE and MAYHEM.
About the story:
Since the beginning of creation, “The Council” has maintained the balance of existence. Their orders are carried out by the horsemen, Nephilim (powerful beings who arise from the unnatural union of angels and demons), who have sworn allegiance to the Council and who have been given tremendous power. But this power cost a high price: the riders were ordered to use their new powers to wipe out the rest of their kind. Then a bloody battle broke out in Eden, in which the riders fulfilled the will of the council and destroyed the Nephilim.
Darksiders Genesis also includes the launch of Creature Cores, a combat system that allows players to customize their own upgrade system that is powered by the opponents who defeat them.
Darksiders Genesis is officially released tomorrow Friday.
