Pokémon: first complete silhouette of the new singular Pokémon

The identity of this new creature will be announced on December 27; but CoroCoro magazine tells us what this Pokémon will be like.

The Japanese monthly magazine CoroCoro, which has used to advance the innovations of the Pokémon universe for five years, among other licenses, has shown in scoop the complete silhouette of the new singular Pokémon that we will meet on February 27, the International Pokémon Day, for Sword and Shield.

Notice: let's show the silhouette of the Pokémon: get out if you don't want to see it

Pokémon Day
We will meet the new Pokémon on February 27

As The Pokémon Company advanced, the Japan Anniversary Association granted the right to that day to be considered Pokémon Day in Japan for its influence. That day Pokémon will turn 24 and celebrate it by revealing the (first) singular species released during Generation VIII; because we do not know if there will be more than one or if it will correspond to her, like Meltan (which does not appear as Generation VII Pokémon despite being launched during that period). In addition, that Pokémon will appear in Pokémon Coco, the next canon movie of the saga that will be released in July in theaters in Japan.

We do not know the name of this new Pokémon, nor its types, but it is not a legendary Pokémon. It never hurts to remember that legendary and singular species are not the same. For example, those recently revealed on the occasion of the Expansion Pass, such as Kubfu or Calyrex, are legendary.

This other Pokémon falls into the category of Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Deoxys, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Diancie, Hoopa, Volcanion, Magearna, Marshadow, Zeraora and Meltan.

Most generations used to have only one singular Pokémon; however, as of Generation IV, V, VI and VII have always had more than one.

35 new Pokémon arrive at Pokémon Sword and Shield after HOME

It is important to note that all Pokémon Sword and Shield users can incorporate a total of 35 new creatures into their Galar regional Pokédex thanks to Pokémon HOME; which add up to the 400 original species available in the Galar region. Therefore, those with regional forms of Alola or Galar can also be transferred to the new Game Freak video games.

The application is now available on both Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android mobile devices. If in doubt, we have published an article explaining what is free and what is paid. Also, the app is loaded with gifts: learn to get these five Pokémon totally free.

Pokémon Sword and Shield are on sale exclusively for Nintendo Switch. You can read our original Reviews of the game with a note here; also our complete guide with everything you need to know to squeeze the title one hundred percent.
