Steam Play Next is the new tool for undecided players of the Valve platform that its creators have presented through their Steam Labs initiative. It is a system capable of deciding for the player the games that they have to play from their digital library of Steam. Of course, at the moment it is an experiment although it can already be tested through the following link, a kind of interactive recommender of the platform itself.

Thus, it is the Experiment 008: Play Next, an initiative that aims to respond to the indecision that players with large digital videogame libraries can have on Steam and that will tell us what unreleased games we can or should play once we have finished the previous.
"Our machine learning system helps you choose by suggesting the games that you think you will like more among those you already have," they say from Valve. “The Play Next experiment uses the same technology behind the Interactive Recommender and applies it to your Steam library. It shows you up to three selections at a time. If the first group does not attract your attention, you can pass it to see other suggestions (when there are any) ”, they indicate through Steam Labs.
According to Valve, Play Next uses an algorithm that chooses games comparable to each other from the same library, although they advance that since it is an experiment, it is not yet finished and can lead to unexpected choices. Its leaders encourage the community to participate and leave their comments to improve the experience with Play Next.
