Playfront

Deep Silver and Nine Dots Studio present the new DLC ‘The Soroboreans’ for their fantasy RPG ‘Outward’. This once again gives players the opportunity to immerse themselves in the magical world of Aurai.

Numerous battles have already been fought in Outward, players have dedicated themselves to the interests of their favorite faction and have died countless times. Now it's time for them to grab their backpack again, pick up where they left off, and face the challenges of the new DLC.

“The Soroboreans” offers a host of new content and features that give the game new momentum – and ensure that players have to worry about significantly more than hunger, dehydration and numerous other dangers that they can fall victim to. Below, Outward players get a first look at some new features. In addition, there will soon be more information and new developer diaries that will provide a lot of details.

features

  • Corruption – hunger, thirst and cold. Not exactly pleasant circumstances that players in Outward encounter again and again. But as if that wasn't bad enough, the player character can now also catch the corruption. Depending on how far it has progressed, it affects the character in different ways and leads to death if it is not shaken off. The world just got a whole lot creepier!
  • Enchantment – what is better than having your favorite weapon with you? How about the favorite weapon that has a brand new effect! Weapons and jewelry can be changed with the new enchantment system.
  • New Skills and Status Effects – The Soroboreans DLC includes new skills and status effects for the character. They help translate the new situations that are affected by the corruption. They also add a whole new element to the game that can completely change the game style. Is it time to send a new character to the Outward world?

Outward: The Soroboreans will be released in spring 2020.
