Sony prepares an event for the community in which it will be possible to collaborate to achieve the different objectives throughout several phases.
Players who wish to obtain exclusive PS4 prizes have an appointment with PlayStation Player Celebration, an online event in which Sony challenges users to achieve various goals. As a reward, they can win dynamic themes, avatars and even a PlayStation kit that will include video games, a coupon valued at 90 euros and a real platinum trophy with the name of the winner recorded. The main competition will take place in 3 different phases, as explained below.
How to participate, what to do and what prizes are at stake
Signing up is free. Simply log in to PSN and register as of February 18. Once noted, the challenges achieved will be added automatically. It should be noted that all the PlayStation 4 titles you play, as well as the trophies you get will contribute to the common goal of the community. When the group reaches its goal, the players who have subscribed will get the prizes.
According to the official website, each title in which you invest at least one hour (in the number of sessions you want) will contribute to achieving the objective. The same will happen when winning trophies, although multiplayer will count twice.
Phase 1 (February 24 at 9:00 Spanish time)
- 125,000 games played
- 500,000 trophies won
- Awards: PS4 exclusive static theme and an exclusive PSN avatar
Phase 2 (begins when Phase 1 is completed)
- 375,000 games played
- 1.5 million trophies won
- Awards: five exclusive PSN avatars
Phase 3 (begins when Phase 2 has been completed)
- 675 000 games played
- 2.7 million trophies won
- Awards: a PS4 exclusive dynamic theme
All prizes will be received immediately, once the objectives have been reached. With regard to the PlayStation kit, to get hold of it you will have to be enrolled in the PlayStation Player Celebration and correctly answer a skill question.
