Dangerous Driving 2 announced, sequel to the spiritual successor of Burnout

Lovers of arcade driving can get this second part on both PS4, Xbox One and PC as well as for the first time on Nintendo Switch.

Dangerous Driving 2 is a reality. Three Fields Entertainment, a British studio led by the original founders of Criterion Games, Fiona Sperry and Alex Ward, have announced the sequel to this arcade driving simulator for PS4, Xbox One, PC and, unlike the original game, also on Nintendo Switch

Launch in 2020; will be playable at the PAX East of Boston

Making analogies between Dangerous Driving and Burnout is no accident. Criterion Games (EA) took charge in its day of the most relevant deliveries of this saga; in fact, after several years of the hand of Ghost Games, the license of Need for Speed returns to the hands of Criterion. But Three Fields Entertainment continues its course and, after the moderate success of the original game, this Dangerous Driving 2 aims to improve everything seen in the past and make its ambitions something much more solid, polished and convincing.

“Dangerous Driving 2 will truly be our best video game to date; with new features that our fans have been asking for, such as a version for Nintendo Switch, split screen, ”they comment in the statement, signed by Alex Ward.

At the moment we have no trailer, nor ingame images; but conceptual images and the commitment to let themselves be seen in the first place playable at the PAX East fair that will be held at the end of February in Boston (where Sony PlayStation has confirmed its withdrawal due to the coronavirus).

The objective of this delivery, like the spirit that breathed the first Dangerous Driving, is to convey the sensation of speed with a playability for all audiences; an open world full of tasks, with freedom of movement and driving modalities that will pass from persecutions to races, events, challenges and competitions.

A video game like those of yesteryear, designed primarily for a single player through its campaign, although there will also be online multiplayer mode and local multiplayer mode with split screen.
