Halo Infinite: Microsoft reveals its ambitious plans for the game on eSports

The long-awaited 343 Industries video game will arrive in late 2020 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X. Silence to make something very big happen.

343 Industries continues to work in silence with the most ambitious project in the series to date, Halo: Infinite. The title that hopes to serve as the culmination of the current generation of Microsoft consoles, Xbox One, while also kicking off the imminent, Xbox Series X, will also have an immersion plan in electronic sports through its renewed multiplayer mode

Esports Engine, twenty years of experience in the competitive world

Although we have not seen any gameplay yet or there are concrete details about what awaits us in this sixth Halo of the main saga (they themselves explained why it is not called Halo 6), the official Halo Twitter account dedicated to eSports has published a short video where they reveal their alliance with Esports Engine, an expert entity in these leaders. It will be with them that they will immerse themselves fully in the international electronic sports scene with Halo: Infinite once it goes on sale and will be part of a wide range of organized professional circuits.

"It is our mission to be able to offer the best eSports program that Halo has received in its 18-year history," says 343 Industries in the statement. "We can't think of a better partner to work with than veteran and great Halo fans like Esports Engine."

For his part, Adam Apicella, CEO of Esports Engine, has also expressed his gratitude and joy in signing this partnership agreement with the intellectual property of Halo: "We are extremely excited to work with 343 Industries," says the team, with twenty years of history in the world of professional competitive video games.

According to GameSpot, it is expected that Esports Engine is responsible for organizing and planning the presence of Halo: Infinite in the competitive scene through the multiplayer mode that is being designed from the North American company.

The only certainty is that Halo: Infinite will go on sale on Xbox One and Xbox Series X this Christmas, at the same time that the new range of Microsoft consoles is launched; and will also be available from that moment in the video game catalog of Xbox Game Pass.

It will be at E3 2020, where Microsoft has confirmed that it will be present, where we will have news about it and an “extensive catalog of games”. This week we learned that the console will have dedicated hardware acceleration for 3D audio.
