The Activision kart game continues with its seasonal expansion plan and offers a new circuit, an unpublished character and much more.
The karts roar again on the track, more when the smell of burnt wheel mixes with the toxic vapors of the home planet of Nitros Oxide, one of the villains of Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, the remake of the PlayStation classic. Activision has announced that the Gasmoxia Grand Prix is now available for free to all players in the video game. The competition leaves planet Earth and moves us to a new track, in which the contestants will have to pilot with skill to reach the goal in the first place.
The press release confirms that there will be new personalization objects, go-karts and a new character, as well as an unpublished track that promises to be “the most technical ever seen in Crash Team Racing”. Below we offer all the details and news that come along with this new season.

Danger To Carry is the name of the new track, which extends beyond the horizon of Gasmoxia, the planet of the evil Oxide. The circuit will be divided into corridors located in one of the two large groups of junk food on the planet, Nuclear Pizza and Toxic Burger (more than fast food, everything seems to indicate that it will be fast poison). It is located on the special periphery and has turns, turns and shortcuts of all kinds.
Oxide will not be alone when drawing up his Machiavellian plans, so he has called Emperor Velo, who claims to be the ruler of the galaxy. It is a new character that we can unlock with Nitro Points.
New time trials are also added, by the hand of Emperor Velo, a very fast character that gives us a new challenge. In addition, we can get the following seasonal go-karts: Void Manta, Velo Chopper and Galactic Cruiser. As if that weren't enough, we will have the option to thematize the vehicles so that they look like the planet, not to mention the possibility of getting the laureate kart and the Gasmoxia sticker if we finish among the 5% of the best in the classification.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Since its launch, it already has a total of eight seasons, 40 circuits, 12 combat arenas and more than 50 playable characters.
