Hideo Kojima shares a video inspired by the film by Sam Mendes, but replaces the date by 2020.
“70% of my body is made of movies,” says Hideo Kojima on his Twitter profile. The Japanese creative has published a new trailer for Death Stranding, his first video game designed outside the orbit of Konami, which went on sale on PlayStation 4 in November 2019. The creative, who usually shares his cinephile filias, is a follower of 1917 , so Kojima Productions just paid tribute to the video they shared. With a very similar aesthetic, the clip ends as in the trailers of the film, only that the date changes and is replaced by “2020”.
The Japanese director has shared the video in a tweet, accompanied by two very specific words: “coming 2020” (arrives in 2020). Nothing else is specified, although the images show pictures of World War I, a conflict that also appears in the video game. The work, exclusive console in the Sony system, is also planned on PC. It will be precisely in summer 2020 when Sam Porter Bridges begins to connect the world in compatible.

Reconnect people
Death Stranding is about the links between people. It portrays a society broken down by an evil that has fallen on the world and that threatens to annihilate every living organism. In that United States that portrays, rain burns, breaks down the skin and destroys objects. And in that context, Sam Porter Bridges is apparently a simple delivery man, but deep down, the only one capable of saving the planet from devastation. Without law, without government, the United States is finished. Only by connecting the different parts of the territory can the situation be remedied.
The game offers a very unique playable style that leads us to travel the world with all kinds of packages. As we connect the lands, we are offered new tools to transit the regions, all while helping to build and rebuild structures. Death Stranding is available on the PlayStation Store for a limited time.
