As of today, 505 Games and Keen Games are expanding the universe of ‘Portal Knights’ with ‘Druids, Fellfolk and Relic Defense’, a brand new expansion that promises more adventures, discoveries and gameplay variations than ever before.
A new class is entering Portal Knights. For the first time, players can experience adventures in the impressive and colorful 3D world as shapeshifter druids. Players who start their adventure in Portal Knights as a druid can show their wild side and take a variety of forms with unique abilities and attacks, including a grim bear, a terrifying spider and … really disgusting slime. A new, proud breed, the wild fur race, is also available, and players can create their own representative of it – with customizable fur colors, ears, snouts, and more!
The new expansion includes three new action-packed arenas in which Druid and Fellfolk players defend ancient relics, the star stones, by creating traps and magical bombardments and overcoming waves of opponents to earn heroic rewards, including a mythical unicorn or a dragon as mount. There is also a difficult mode for every arena, in which only the most daring players can compete against the toughest opponents to win. For a limited time, players can purchase the Druid, Fellfolk, and Relic Defense expansion pack at 10% off the Microsoft Games Store, PlayStation Store, and Steam – but be careful before the offer changes!
For all Portal Knights players, there is also a free content update with the following fun new features:
- Throughout Elysia, simple mounts such as horses, pigs and more are available from NPC dealers.
- You can now buy musical plates in-game in Portal Knights Adventure Mode. You can make such wonderful music with friends!
- New elements for creative mode include waypoints that can be set for opponents and new objects that help players create their own race tracks for the newly earned mounts.
- PC ONLY: Players can edit the text of NPCs and create their own mini-adventures!
- General bug fixes and stability improvements for Portal Knights.
