Pokémon GO: how to get Rhyhorn and Rhyperior with Romperrocas

Pokémon GO: how to get Rhyhorn and Rhyperior with Romperrocas

This February 22 will take place the second Community Day of 2020 and, with it, the opportunity to catch a Rhyperior with exclusive movement.

Today, February 22, 2020, Pokémon GO Community Day takes place; the second of the year and the most participative to date. From FreeGameTips we have made a complete guide with everything we need to know to make the most of this opportunity, but this time we will focus on the capture of the main Pokémon, Rhyhorn, who can evolve to Rhyperior with an exclusive Romperrocas movement.

The essentials are, first, the dates of the event: Saturday, February 22, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (local time) in the northern hemisphere; from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. from the southern hemisphere.

The protagonist Pokémon is Rhyhorn, chosen through a popular vote and with the option of obtaining it with exclusive movement, Romro-Rocks, if we meet the temporary conditions.

How to catch Rhyhorn on Community Day

During the hours of the event, Rhyhorn will appear wildly much more frequently; In fact, we can find it in shiny / variocolor form if we are lucky. In addition, we will have x3 in Stardust for each capture. The important thing, however, is that we are well equipped with Poké Ball, Super Ball and Ultra Ball to take advantage of all the opportunities.

The Pinia Berry and Silver Pinia Berry are essential to get as many candies as possible, an irremediable element when it comes to evolving our Rhyhorn to Rhydon and, subsequently, to Rhyperior (this last step requires a Shinnoh Stone.

When we encounter a Rhyhorn, if we have difficulties in capturing it, it is interesting to be equipped with numerous Frambu Berries, which facilitate the capture ratio, and use the Ultra Ball.

  • The chain looks like this: Rhyhorn -> 25 candies for Rhydon -> 100 candies + Shinnoh Stone for Rhyperior.

Romperrocas: how can Rhyperior learn this movement?

If we want our Rhyhorn to become a shining Rhyperior with Romperrocas, it is essential that we do it between 11:00 and 14:00 (northern hemisphere) or, failing that, up to three hours after that time (until 17 : 59h). Once it's 6:00 pm, it won't help: you won't learn the exclusive movement.

Romperrocas (Rock Wrecker) is an interesting sea movement in Pokémon GO because its Roca typology, used as a charged movement, has a base power of 110 capable of making 30.56 DPS (spends two energy bars). In the PvP, in addition, it maintains its 110 base power with 50 energy consumption.

We remember that on February 27, Pokémon Day (anniversary of the saga) will reveal a new unique Pokémon along with new events related to Pokémon GO. It is also important to note that the cloned Pokémon will debut in Pokémon GO along with the return of Mewtwo Battleship that day 27. All this on the occasion of the premiere of Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution on Netflix.
