Fallout 76 at PAX East with Wastelanders & Double XP

Bethesda today announced plans for next week’s PAX East Event, which has plenty of news to add to the Wastelanders expansion. There is also a new Double XP event on the agenda.

Fallout 76 development team members will be on stage on Friday, February 28, at 8:00 p.m. CET, to take a closer look at the upcoming Wastelanders update. Jeff Gardiner, Ferret Baudoin, Mark Tucker and Nate Purkeypile will then provide you with a bit of Wastelanders gameplay and provide insight into the design and aesthetics of the new content.

Part of the presentation includes how Appalachia has changed with the arrival of humans, a few of the characters are introduced, new weapons are shown and much more. A special podcast is also planned, see trailer below.

Patch 17.5 and Double XP

In preparation for Wasterlanders there will also be Patch 17.5 next week, which will make minor optimizations. In parallel, a Double XP event is running, the details of which are as follows:

Head to Appalachia from February 27th to March 2nd to level up twice as fast – whether in Adventure Mode, Nuclear Winter or your private world. So that you don’t miss an experience point, we have the start and end times for you.
