Nintendo details its games for the PAX East 2020: Animal Crossing will be playable

The Japanese company ratifies its already confirmed assistance. They will also carry Pokémon Mysterious World and Luigi’s Mansion 3 for Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo has confirmed that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be playable in the PAX East 2020 that will take place from February 27 to March 1 in Boston, Massachusetts. The Japanese company has thus ratified its participation in such an important event, one of the biggest videogame meetings of this first semester in the United States with the GCD, also in March.

Unlike Square Enix, Capcom and Sony PlayStation, which have announced over the last few days that they will cause PAX East casualty because of the fear surrounding Wuhan's coronavirus (COVID-19), those in Kyoto have decided that Their plans will not be intervened by the concern surrounding this epidemic. Therefore, attendees can participate in a “large-scale stand with immersive experiences inspired by the game”, referring to this new iteration of the Animal Crossing saga, the first in the main series in seven years.

Cinnamon, Tom Nook and the rest of the villagers will not be alone in the Nintendo booth. Other confirmed video games are Pokémon Sword and Shield, which will feature special raids for those there (we remember that on February 27 the new Pokémon will be revealed) as well as Pokémon Mysterious World: EX rescue team and Luigi’s Mansion 3; the first of them for sale this March 6, two weeks before Animal Crossing. At the moment, no more names have been confirmed.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons: landing on the desert island on March 20

Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become the main protagonist of Nintendo Switch for this first semester. In the absence of knowing the company's plans beyond this third month of the 2020 calendar, the Japanese firm has everything ready for the video game to become an international success.

After the Nintendo Direct that took place this past February 20, a multitude of novelties for the title have been confirmed, which will finally allow saving games in the cloud in case of theft, loss or irreparable damage to the console. Of course, there is some ambiguity when it comes to detailing whether that item can be recovered once or more than once. In addition, in the future games can be transferred between consoles; not launch.

On the other hand, it should be noted that the game will have free content updates, starting this March. The promise is to keep the game active, with events, activities and new objects, at least throughout this first calendar year.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be launched exclusively for Nintendo Switch this March 20.
