Nintendo's fighting video game adds another skin to the collection, one of the characters in the well-known free-to-play game.

He will not be one of the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters, but Lotus, from Warframe, will be present at the title published by Nintendo. It will be one of the new spirits, that is, one of the many skins that are already available in the title, which already has more than 1400. Bayonetta will embody Lotus and can be achieved during the “Spirits in Black” event, which will begin on next February 28 (will last five days).

In Warframe, Lotus informs the Tenno of the approaching enemy units. Alert your allies through a control console and will not hesitate to announce the arrival of heavy units when they are nearby. Infested, heavy Grineers and MOAs Shockwaves are their specialty. Also, this free-to-play title is available on Nintendo Switch, so it is possible to download it for free.

Since its launch, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has remained alive with a whole series of improvements, ranging from balance patches to the incorporation of new content, both paid and free. Anyway, the characters of the videogame industry that have joined the contest are included in the season pass, the Fighters Pass Vol. 1.

Who chooses the characters?

Some may think that Masahiro Sakurai, director of the video game, is the person who ultimately decides which fighter joins the squad. However, the creative has made it clear that the decision lies with Nintendo itself. Therefore, the six extra characters that were marketed were the decision of the Kyoto company. The same will happen with the characters of the Fighters Pass Vol 2, which have not yet been uncovered. According to Sakurai, after these six bonus fighters, the company has no plans to offer a third season.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate went on sale in December 2018 for Nintendo Switch. The game, which brings together many scenarios and characters from renowned videogame sagas, does not have a new sequel planned at the moment.
