Insurgency: Sandstorm confirms its release date on consoles

The New World Interactive tactical shooter is now available on PC, but it will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to move its battles of modern warfare.

Focus Home Interactive and New World Interactive have announced that Insurgency: Sandstorm will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on August 25. The announcement came during the PAX East 2020, which is held in the city of Boston, United States. After a year of its PC launch, more than one million players now enjoy this tactical shooter, which reproduces the biting war in small spaces and includes a multiplayer mode focused on the objectives, as well as the cooperative game.

“The console market has long been waiting for a modern shooter attempt. Expanding our proven PC formula to the console market is a great step for the evolution of our company and we are excited to be able to bring our characteristic style of tactical FPS to consoles for the first time, ”said Keith Warner, President of New World Interactive , in a press release sent by Koch Media.

The modern conflict, closely

Console players will have to fight in battles with deadly ballistics and artillery, which together are capable of wreaking havoc. Since it bets on realism, death lurks in every corner and the ammunition is not infinite, so you have to try to manage it properly so as not to be sold to the enemy. Tactic and strategy are of vital importance in all these scenarios destroyed by war, eroded by a conflict that does not seem to end.

Insurgency: Sandstorm will allow us to live a cooperative adventure, join a squad and fight side by side to survive another day. PVP games based on objectives are also offered and promise great attention to detail. Personalization, on the other hand, will also be one of the key points of the video game, since we can modify the character and its weapons to our liking. In addition, an audio design is promised that features “positional voice chat”, which allows you to increase the level of immersion.
