Rockstar Games presents the weekly news of the multiplayer mode of GTA V, this time, with the most frantic races on board the fastest F1.
Rockstar Games presents the latest news from GTA Online, the popular multiplayer mode of GTA V, this week with the new Open Wheel Races mode, a series of thrilling races aboard the fastest cars for up to 16 players, where pit stops and the precision behind the wheel will mark the result of the competition. Thus, Open Wheel Races becomes part of the GTA Online racing modes such as Cunning Stunts, Tiny Racers, Arena War and more.
Two new cars: Progen PR4 and Ocelot R88
Thus, this new update adds two new vehicles with the Progen PR4 and Ocelot R88 cars, with great customization options for each driver to find their ideal configuration. In addition, together with Open Wheel Races, up to 7 new circuits are added, a number that will grow over time; For now we have:
- Open Wheel: American Circuit
- Open Wheel: Urban Reform
- Open Wheel: New Wave
- Open Wheel: Date Vidilla
- Open Wheel: Danger Port
- Open Wheel: Air Cushion
- Open Wheel: High society
On the other hand, riders will be able to choose the composition of the tires between hard, intermediate or soft, all to achieve the perfect balance between speed and grip for each race.
- Hard tires: more durable, but less grip. Recommended for dry weather.
- Intermediate tires: medium duration and grip. They work well in both dry and wet weather.
- Soft tires: deteriorate earlier, but the grip is greater. Recommended for wet weather.
As if it were authentic F1 cars, the new Open Wheels Races vehicles incorporate the KERS kinetic energy system to provide additional momentum at key moments of each race; and be careful, because the cars will suffer damage in the race that we will have to repair in the pits and not automatically with each vehicle restoration.
Add Open Wheel Races to the Activities tab of the Online section of the pause menu or driving to the new racing series icon, near Los Santos International Airport. The host can choose the length of the race in intervals of 5 laps up to a maximum of 25, as well as the weather conditions and time of day.
