Three ways to play Mario Kart Tour online
The first thing that Nintendo has made clear in its infographic where they explain this new modality of Mario Kart Tour is that there will be three modalities from this March 9: with friends or with players who are close; Standard races and Gold races.

With friends: choose the rules you want, customizing all kinds of options and restrictions. Without limitation by category / league not being competitive but friendly.

Standard Races: they will have two sets of rules that will change every day. Always under 100cc, but with the following variant: either with a single item or with two simultaneous item slots. Depending on your results, we will have category from E to A.

Carreras Gold: the latest mode, exclusively for users who have the Golden Pass (you can check how to get it for free for 15 days here). In this case, the races will always be in 150cc or 200cc displacement with the following four variants: 150cc with a single item slot; 150cc with two object slots; 200cc with a single item slot; 200cc with two slots for objects. In this case, the results will address one more category, from E to S (which is above category A).
In all modes races can be played in the 3 circuits of a cup available in the current season; This cup will change every 15 minutes. That is, every quarter of an hour there will be three different circuits, always corresponding to the current Season.
Mario Kart Tour is available as a free to play on iOS and Android. Apart from microtransactions, the monthly Golden Pass offers advantages, exclusive objects and the possibility of playing in 200cc in any way. It has a price of 5.49 euros per month.
