Final Fantasy VII Remake: how to see the secret end of the demo

The Square Enix title has a free demo available on PS4 with the first chapter of the game. We warn of possible damage and secrets.

The free demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake on PlayStation 4 is still one of the sensations of the week on the Sony PS Store. In the absence of only one month for the launch of the long-awaited video game, the return of Cloud and company comes accompanied by secrets and hidden details. Regarding this demo, you can unlock a secret ending in a fairly simple way.

The following paragraphs include revelations about the content of the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo; susceptible to being considered spoiler.

NOTICE: We don't reveal the content of that secret ending, just how to get there.

How to unlock the secret ending of the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo

Once we have downloaded the demo (which weighs 7.59 GB), just start playing normally in this Chapter 1 – which includes the mission of the mako reactor # 1 – and move on until a conversation between Cloud occurs and Barret; specifically, when the well-known protagonist and the AVALANCHA group are in the reactor and Barret asks for the time needed to accomplish this mission.

This is when we have to pay close attention, since there are two options: 20 minutes or 30 minutes. What we must select is the first option, 20 minutes, so Barrett will answer: "You are very conceited, don't you think?" (“Pretty cocky, ain’t you”, if you play in English). If we choose 30 minutes, the answer is different and we will not be able to see the secret ending when we finish the demo.

Once this is done, once you finish the Final Fantasy VII Remake demo you will be able to witness a final 15 seconds longer than the normal ending, with a sequence where we will see a familiar face. And here we are going to read!

April 10 on PlayStation 4: Final Fantasy VII returns

This same week we have known that the game will not feature characters from Compilation of Final Fantasy VII with one exception; The presence of contents and faces of works such as Crisis Core or productions such as Advent Children is thus ruled out.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will go on sale in physical and digital format this April 10 exclusively for PS4. That condition of exclusivity will not be forever, but will remain until April 10, 2021, when you can see the light on other platforms. You can read our impressions after more than three hours of play at an event held in Madrid here.
