Actor Vin Diesel, Groot at UCM, confirms that several of the galactic superheroes will have a presence in Thor 4, giving continuity to Avengers Endgame.
The Guardians of the Galaxy, or several of them, join the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder; This was announced by actor Vin Diesel, Groot at UCM, in a recent interview of his latest film, Bloodshoot, with the Comic Book media. Thus, it seems that Thor 4 would start after the end of Avengers Endgame, where we see Thor himself joining the Guardians of the Galaxy with everything ready to embark on a new intergalactic journey.
Groot will become Alpha Groot
Thus, Vin Diesel himself has dropped several news related to the galactic future of Marvel Studios, anticipating that "several of the Guardians will appear at Thor's next one," as advanced by Taika Waititi, director of the film. Of course, the actor adds shortly after that "maybe I shouldn't have said that", laughing. We will see if finally the Guardians of the Galaxy have a prominent role in Thor's new installment or, on the contrary, they remain in a secondary role as an introduction of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, still without a release date.
To all this we must add more information about the future of the Guardians of the Galaxy at UCM, since Vin Diesel himself ensures that his character, Groot, will evolve to Alpha Groot, after seeing the original Groot in the first part of Guardians of the Galaxy, as a baby in the sequel and as a teenager in both Avengers Infinity War and Avengers Endgame.
Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to premiere on November 5, 2021, a film that recently confirmed his villain or, at least, one of them, with actor Christian Bale, Batman in the Christopher Nolan trilogy. At the moment, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has no concrete release date.
