Hermen Hulst reflects on the present and future of Sony Worldwide Studios before the arrival of PlayStation 5 and the announcement of Horizon on PC.
The Horizon: Zero Dawn ad for PC was an open secret. Filtration, information advanced by the world of journalism and similar precedents invited to think that the successful game of Guerrilla Games was going to see the light on computer in 2020. And so it will be. Hermen Hulst, director of Sony Worldwide Studios since November, has agreed to an interview with the official PlayStation blog to reflect on the present and future of the brand, which sees PS5 on the horizon.

The former member of Guerrilla Games, where he worked since its foundation, has sent a clear message to PlayStation fans who have enjoyed the huge range of single player experiences that PS4 has nurtured since 2013: they will continue to do single player games focused on the narrative.
Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will arrive on PC in summer.
Notably, names like God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man, The Last Guardian, Bloodborne, Shadow of the Colossus or Horizon: Zero Dawn itself, are the reference examples that fans hope to repeat for the ever closer PlayStation 5 .
“As until now, we remain committed to the specific hardware. And we will continue to be. We are also with quality exclusives. And with single player games with a powerful narrative, ”he says. The fact that Horizon: Zero Dawn arrives on PC, in his words, does not imply that other exclusive Sony Worldwide Studios games necessarily have to see the light on a computer. “To reassure people, that we launch our own AAA title on PC does not necessarily mean that all games will now be released on PC. In my opinion, Horizon Zero Dawn perfectly adapted to this approach, ”he expands. A temporary exclusive was Death Stranding, the new Hideo Kojima, coming soon on PC through 505 Games.
