DOOM Eternal - Bethesda reveals the technical details & a unicorn skin

In the run-up to the release of ‘DOOM Eternal’ Bethesda has now revealed the technical details that are offered on the PS4 Pro, PS4 & Co. Real fans can also jam a crazy unicorn skin.

In our preview, Bethesda already assured that you would like to keep the standard of 60fps on all platforms, which was also a success. The following specifications are therefore offered on consoles:

PlayStation 4 Pro

  • DOOM Eternal on PlayStation 4 Pro is sampled from 1440p at 60 FPS to 4K (2160p). The PlayStation 4 Pro version also supports HDR.

PlayStation 4

  • DOOM Eternal on PlayStation 4 runs at 1080p at 60 FPS.
  • The PlayStation 4 version also supports HDR.

Xbox One X

  • DOOM Eternal on Xbox One X is sampled from 1800p at 60 FPS to 4K (2160p).
  • The Xbox One X version of the game also supports HDR.

Xbox One S

  • DOOM Eternal on Xbox One and Xbox One S will be upgraded from 900p to 1080p at 60 FPS.
  • The Xbox One S version of the game also supports HDR.

In addition, Bethesda confirms that the pre-load on PS4 will be available approximately 48 hours before the release of DOOM Eternal. The shooter is then playable from midnight.
