After the cancellation of E3 2020 for fear of the coronavirus, already classified as a pandemic, the organization advances what they have planned for next year.
With E3 2020 recently canceled due to the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus, already considered by the WHO as a pandemic, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has released a statement in response to the reactions that have taken place under the news: there will be E3 2021, but with changes.
E3 2020 was already going to be an event with news and a change in philosophy, an event that was going to take a structural turn, they promised; but all those plans will be made to beg, if all goes well, twelve more months. "We want to thank all those who shared their vision of a reimagined E3 this year," they begin by telling GameSpot in an official statement.
"We look forward to bringing you E3 2021 as a reimagined event that brings fans, the media and the industry together, together, in a gathering that celebrates the global video game industry," they continue.
What ESA intended to do with E3 2020: a fair focused on the public
