Giratina Modified Form is back in Pokémon GO. Niantic, in its plan to turn March 2020 into one of the busiest activities in the history of the game, brings back the well-known Pokémon in charge of protecting the World Distortion in the five-star raids for just a few days.

As always, we start with the dates. The event will begin this Friday, March 13, 2020, at 8:00; and will end on Monday, March 16, 2020, at 10:00 p.m. local time. In addition, it is possible that we will find it in its variocolor / shiny form, but we have already warned that it is quite complicated.
Thus, Level 5 Raids will be led by this dangerous Pokémon. In his Modified form, Giratina will attack us with Shadow Claw (Ghost), Dragon Breath (Dragon), Dragon Claw (Dragon), Past Power (Rock), and Shadow Strike (Ghost). When facing him in post-raid combat, he will have a power (CP) from 1848 to 1931 with no atmospheric improvements. With favorable weather (wind or fog), your CP will be between 2310 and 2414.
Counters: what equipment to bring to end Giratina easily
The most effective Pokémon to kill him are Rayquaza, Palkia, Dragonite, Salamence, Latios and Dialga, although a Mewtwo with Shadow Ball or a Gengar with Shadow Claw are alternatives to consider. Banette, the third generation ghost, is also a good choice. Likewise, a Tyranitar with a Bite or Shred can wreak havoc on Giratina and defend well against him. If you have Weavile, in his Dark form with Scream and Avalanche he is another one of the best opponents.
