The online store of the creators of Fortnite also offers Mutazione and Anodyne 2: Return to Dust; announce the following.

The calendar marks the day. It's Thursday, which means the Epic Games Store has made new games available to players for free. The North American company announced last week that it would not give away one or two, but three independent video games, some of them renowned. A Short Hike is accompanied by Mutazione and Anodyne 2: Return to Dust, which can be obtained permanently from March 12 to 19. Upcoming games have also been unveiled: Watch Dogs and The Stanley Parable.

The new games replace GoNNER and Ofworld Trading Company. The premise of A Short Hike is condensed in the name of the game itself. It is a production that invites us to take the mat and do some mountaineering. The objective? Reach the top of Hawk Peak. Through exploration, we will have to walk trails and look for hidden secrets. And secretly, the village of Mutazione, a town located in an ancient city, which was destroyed after a nuclear attack. This graphic point and click adventure takes us to a world changed by mutations, in which the most important thing is the relationship between the neighbors. On the other hand, 2D dungeons inside the characters' bodies is what Anodyne 2: Return to Dust proposes.

Epic Games Store, free games
Watch Dogs, one of the next free games.

The following video games

Years ago, at E3 2012, Ubisoft introduced Watch Dogs, a game called to change everything we had seen until then, at least in terms of graphics. Still, the end result did not come close to what had been promised, something that ultimately caused the French to completely change their strategy. Far from being a poor quality title, the work gave rise to a new saga that is about to debut its third installment, Watch Dogs: Legion. To open our mouth, we will have the opportunity to get hold of this video game from March 19.

It won't come alone, since the Epic Games Store has also announced that The Stanley Parable will be free. It is a story that is told in the first person and that is full of contradictions. Will you be able to solve their puzzles?
