The Resident Evil 3 demo is dated: it's coming this week; Resistance beta for 27

The Japanese company confirms the dates of the campaign demo and the multiplayer test of the new remake.

Resident Evil 3 has a confirmed demo date: it will be next March 19 when fans of the saga will be able to test the demo for PS4, Xbox One and PC through steam. The game's demo allows users to control Jill Valentine, the protagonist of this installment, while teaming up with another of the featured characters from the game originally appeared on PSX, Carlos Oliveira. The plot is set in Jill's fight to save herself and the innocents who are still in Raccoon City while having to avoid the footsteps of Nemesis, a biological weapon that only aims to remove the trail of any STARS. The demo can be downloaded on Thursday, March 19 at 5am on Xbox One and at 6pm on Steam and PS4.

In addition to the demo, it has also been announced that within the demo we will be able to search for Mr. Charlie's treasure: 20 statues scattered throughout Raccoon City while Nemesis chases us. The demonstration will have a counter that will let us know how many we have achieved and where they are.

Finally, on March 27, users will be able to try Resident Evil Resistance, the asymmetric 4-on-1 multiplayer included with Resident Evil 3. We will be able to control Daniel Fabron, one of the game's four brains, to perform twisted experiments and put cheating on ordinary civilians. On the other side, players can form a team of four survivors, each with a unique ability, to try and escape the experiment before time runs out.

The beta for Resident Evil Resistance will start on March 27 at 8am on Xbox One and PS4 and at 6pm on Steam. The beta will end with the official premiere of the game on April 3.
