Nintendo Indie World: all announced games, temporary exclusives and more

The most independent edition of the Nintendo Direct is summarized in a battery of titles that have been condensed in approximately 20 minutes.

Nintendo Switch has revealed its future plans when it comes to independent video games. The highlight is that the Kyoto machine has been made with several exclusive storms, including that of the Spanish game Summer in Mara, developed by Chibig Studio. During the broadcast, it has been announced that console players will get a free backpack and suit before all other users.

“In Chibig we play farm games in unusual places. In Summer in Mara you will have your own island to take care of, and also a boat with which to explore the ocean. With more than thirty islands and a score of characters to help, you will have a lot to do, "said Diego Freire, from the development team. The game will be available in spring 2020.

Titles for all tastes

Another of the games with a precious appearance is Baldo, which will also be marketed first in the Kyoto system. It will be in summer when this anime aesthetic title takes us on adventures through a world of fantasy and magic. The Italian Fabio Capone, from Naps Team, has defined his video game like this: “We are great admirers of action role-playing games and Japanese anime, so we have always wanted to create something that would combine both elements. We were looking for a game that would transport the player to a magical world, full of fantastic characters, complex dungeons and puzzles ”.

The battery of titles has been constant, in which there have been plenty of familiar faces such as that of Sean Murray, director of No Man's Sky and of the new production that is underway, The Last Campfire. It is a more intimate platform adventure that will go on sale in the summer of 2020, also for the hybrid of those in Kyoto. Darker is Blair Witch, the horror video game that originally premiered on Xbox One, but has also been confirmed for the Nintendo Switch.

Exit the Gungeon, the sequel to Enter the Gungeon, has been chosen to close the broadcast. Yes, that moment in which the voiceover says the phrase "we still have one more thing to show". The title, developed by Singlecore Games and published by Devolver Digital, will be available today on the Nintendo eShop.
