FIFA 20: 128 teams from around the world gather for a tournament against coronavirus

Leyton Orient, a club in the English fourth division, has managed to bring together teams from all over the world; including Manchester City. This will be the tournament.

In full alert in Spain for the coronavirus (COVID-19), the video game has become one of the favorite companies for everyone. The Leyton Orient, a football club of the English fourth division, launched a proposal a few days ago through social networks to carry out a tournament in FIFA 20 with representatives of the main clubs around the planet. The result has been a success.

128 teams will meet in the so-called FIFA Ultimate QuaranTeam

The FIFA Ultimate QuaranTeam will be held in the coming days and will feature representatives from countries such as England, the United States, Turkey, Portugal, Belgium, Italy and Spain. If we stick to our country, of the table of 128 clubs —initially it was going to be 64 participants, but the interest was enormous—, only one LaLiga team is present: Celta de Vigo. The Galicians will demonstrate their skills in this knockout tournament through rounds: if you lose, you are left out. All profits will go to charitable causes.

Manchester City, West Ham United, Aston Villa, Rome, Fiorentina … Clubs that have won tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League. But what exactly will the FIFA Ultimate QuaranTeam be like?

Each club will choose a participant, who can be from a player to a worker; even a budding club member, but it must be one person. Presumably, someone will dominate the controls in FIFA 20. Regarding Celta de Vigo, we do not yet know who will be their representative.

What we do know is that the draw for the pairings will be held this Wednesday; It will be then when we know who faces who and if the Leyton Orient has any luck in what is, with all merit, their tournament, the closest FIFA 20 tournament to an "official" championship that we have seen during these days of quarantine. The results will be published here.

The news of the football universe leaves us with other telematic tournaments in FIFA 20. For example, the one promoted by the well-known caster and streamer Ibai Llanos. The Spaniard has managed to gather a total of 20 LaLiga players for a tournament that will be broadcast online and from which all the funds will go to charitable causes.

FIFA 20 is available for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch,
