Three of the PlayStation classics drop in price, as do other additional titles like Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster.

Square Enix lowers the price of the Final Fantasy saga games on Nintendo Switch. From this moment on, players who want to enjoy the franchise will be able to do so for less money, although of course, in digital format. The offers apply to all titles launched on the platform, with discounts of around 50%. Thus, timeless classics like Final Fantasy VII, VIII Remastered or IX are available from € 7.99. There's no shortage of spin-offs or other more recent remasters, like Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age or Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster.

Square Enix has joined many other companies that are offering deals. Spring sales have started in stores like GOG or the Ubisoft Shop, not to mention the free titles that are available, in part to combat the forced confinement caused by the coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19), which has motivated some governments, like the Spanish, to declare a state of alarm.

The Square Enix saga has a new game on the horizon, Final Fantasy VII Remake, the first installment of which is scheduled for April 10. The game will launch on PlayStation 4 as a 1-year temporary exclusive and will reimagine the original story with new storylines, a new graphic look, and a completely revamped playable system.
