League of Legends (LOL): 10.6 patch notes; all changes and news

The North American company Riot Games aims at the matching system, which will be improved to avoid inequalities.

Riot Games announces League of Legends (LOL) news, punctual to their appointment every two weeks. The title is updated to version 10.6 and welcomes a new champion, Wukong. The patch improves the pairing system in order to avoid the uneven number of users with access to the automatic wildcard. At the same time, a third round of jungle mods occurs to jungle champions, as well as other additional systemic changes.

When it comes to the pairing system, Riot recalls the difficulties that occur when a team player has automatic comfort while the opponents are in primary position. "With this change, the wait time will be increased a bit to try to place a player with an automatic wildcard on both teams (or, if possible, neither have an automatic wildcard). The developer acknowledges that they cannot eliminate the wild card without queuing times soaring, but they are confident that the move will help improve games.

Riot Games continues to explore the possibility of matching the number of predesigned groups on each team. They comment that in their internal tests it worked, but in combination with the automatic wildcard balance changes an inequality scenario occurred.
