Now that you have a little more time for other things and regular everyday life has been reduced, we have once again dealt with our own technology a bit and brought our Android app back to Google Play and Amazon.
While our app at the time was still a purely native Android app, the development of which was a bit more complicated, things have been simplified considerably. The advantage of the new app is that you share a uniform look across all access options.
Basically, the new app is based on the PWA version of FreeGameTips, which has been available for some time. This has now been converted into a "native" app again, comparable to the Webview apps at that time. The advantages of the PWA and Android app are above all the full-screen view without the annoying browser bar, a chic icon on the home screen and of course the presence on Google Play and Amazon. Since everything has been simplified somewhat, frequent app updates are no longer necessary – if something changes on the page, it is automatically delivered to the app. The download size of 1MB is also tiny.
The app can now be found on Google Play and also on Amazon, where we would be happy to receive reviews. The PWA app, which you can install via the request in the Safari browser, remains for iOS users.
