Resident Evil 3 Remake: Filtered difficulty modes, New Game + and more

The demo published on PS4, Xbox One and PC has served for dataminers to extract some data from the video game.

The release of Resident Evil 3 Remake is scheduled for a few weeks, but Capcom has released a demo ahead of time. Meanwhile, the so-called dataminers have not stood still and have started rummaging through the data to discover some secrets stored in the code. Leaving aside the data that contains gutting, a ResetEra thread has revealed that the work will incorporate a New Game + mode, among other additional information.

According to these data, the reimagined version of the Capcom classic has four different game modes: Assistant, which has automatic regeneration and does it easily, as well as the Normal, Hard and Super Hard modes. The latter makes enemies more powerful and reduces the amount of resources, but also modifies the location of enemies and objects compared to other modes.

The New Game + mode, meanwhile, is unlocked after finishing the game for the first time. According to data obtained by dataminers, when starting a new adventure through this option, “many parts of the game” will change and an unpublished ending will be added. If everything goes according to this script, there will also be numerous unlockable content, including concept art, character modeling, and costumes. Jill has, as long as the leaks materialize, four different suits; Carlos, only two.

Not everything that appears is written on fire

The information comes from dataminers and is in the game code, which does not mean that everything that appears is an official confirmation. It is not the first time that people delve into the bowels, discover something and then it is not fulfilled in the final version. It should not be forgotten that Respawn Enterainment introduced false data into Apex Legends to trick dataminers and thus avoid ruining surprises for players.

Resident Evil 3 Remake will be released on April 3 on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Like the new version of the second installment, this production takes the original game as a starting point and builds around it a whole new playable and graphic frame. In addition, mercenary mode is removed, although Resident Evil Resistance is added in the same package. It is an asymmetric multiplayer in which four survivors will face a master brain.
