Tomorrow Tuesday, the long-awaited Chapter # 2 update for ‘Ghost Recon: Breakpoint’ will be released, the details of which Ubisoft summarizes again today. In addition to fundamentally revised mechanics, Sam Fisher returns as a guest appearance in this episode.

The title Update 2.0 is the largest expansion for Ghost Recon Breakpoint so far and brings the following content:

  • A new story adventure for Episode 2 that includes eight new missions that require players to team up with Sam Fisher, known from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell®. Together with Sam Fisher, the players uncover a plot to develop mind-controlled military drones. Your task is to stop this development on Auroa. The adventure introduces new game elements designed for stealth and delivers game scenes with the distinctive voice of Michael Ironside in the role of Sam Fisher. The full adventure is available to all Year 1 Pass holders, but is also available for purchase separately. All players get free access to the first mission and two related rewards. Furthermore, all players have the opportunity to play the new adventure in co-op mode with friends who have the Year 1 Pass. In total, players can earn ten exclusive mission rewards themed on Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell, either by purchasing the adventures from Mission 2 or owning the Year 1 Pass.

  • Two new classes that are available in both PvE and PvP mode. For holders of the Year 1 Pass, these classes are available one week in advance and can therefore be played from March 24th.
The Echelon class: This class focuses on camouflage and enables players to move almost silently to take out opponents unnoticed. The special ability of the Echelon class is the sonar view. This ability allows players to track down opponents through walls and disrupt drones.
The engineering class: This class enables greater damage to drones and more effective attacks by grenade launchers. The Defense Drone special ability allows players to attack nearby enemies, while the class tool, the Supply Drone, provides the allies with an additional magazine with improved ammunition.
  • The Ghost Experience is a new mode that is available to all players for free. The Ghost experience offers players new immersive and tactical options. In addition, players have the opportunity to customize their gaming experience by deactivating the equipment level and setting a more realistic loot system.

Title Update 2.0 also includes many updates requested by fans. Content includes camera placement, base jump, weapon / equipment sorting options improvement, vehicles, respawn system improvement, GunSmith updates, and more. Ubisoft has summarized details on the official website.
