Cinnamon and Doomslayer, finally together thanks to a mod

A modder fulfills the dream of a community, making Canela a companion to the Marine de Doom

It was inevitable. Ever since the coincidence of the dates for Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing: New Horizons became a viral phenomenon represented by Doomslayer and Cinnamon, it was known that mods that revolved around that idea would soon appear. With countless illustrations, memes and animations in which you can see two very different characters sharing moments, it was a matter of time before someone went further and brought that relationship to the video game.

An ideal companion

It has been modder Veronica Speedwell who has opened fire with a companion mod in GZdoom, whereby the protagonist Marine may be accompanied by the iconic Animal Crossing character in classic games or the countless maps available to them.

Cinnamon can simply follow us on our orgy of destruction, or actively participate in the killing, using a rifle that leaves an explosion of confetti around him. In addition, as a good companion, from time to time she will provide us with help in the form of medicine cabinets -although she will ask us for a clash of hands for the service and will complain if we leave her "hanging" -. If we are standing, he will sweep the floor, in addition to performing other animations. It is also compatible with other companion mods and can be carried to the infinity of variants that the GZDoom allows, the open and updated version of the Doom engine that is a vehicle of creativity and entertainment for a dozen community of creators and players.

The mod can be downloaded here.
