Keep playing at home: Football Manager 2020 will be free one more week

SEGA extends the game period at no cost from its computer soccer simulator. What lasted seven days now becomes fourteen days.

Sports Interactive and SEGA have announced that Football Manager 2020 will continue to be free on PC (via Steam) for at least one more week. The coronavirus crisis, which has precipitated the state of alarm in countries like Spain, has confined millions of people in their homes and, with this, numerous video game companies are offering free experiences.

Football Manager 2020: play for free until April 1

If we reported this news a week ago, what initially were seven days of free games in this last iteration of the saga will finally be —at least— fourteen days, as they do not detail whether the period will be extended more soon. The ball will continue to roll on the blackboards of this football club management simulator at no cost to anyone with an active account on Valve's video game portal.

Although the game did not need it – it is one of the best-selling paid video games every month on Steam, especially in its genre – the publisher wanted to join the cause and thus renounced the possible income generated by the sale of the video game in this period , which will end this coming April 1; when, hopefully, the health situation enjoys greater control of the situation.

To access Football Manager 2020 completely free from Steam (compatible with Windows 10 and Mac OS devices), just access this link, install the Steam client on your computer and download the title. The community is sentencing and, in this case, with more than 8700 “Very positive” reviews registered, it seems that there is no doubt that it is one of the best sports management titles of the generation.

FreeGameTips rated this installment with a note of remarkable high last November. The Reviews, which can be read here, reflects the best and worst of a saga that continues to evolve and apply quality of life improvements where the fan can find himself increasingly comfortable.
