Resident Evil 3 Remake: release date, price, and trailers

We review all the details about the release of the reimagined version of the Capcom classic, available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Raccoon City never dies, at least as long as the classic titles continue to come alive with remastered and revamped versions. Resident Evil 3 Remake follows the path of the second installment and offers a renewed adventure not only in the graphic aspect, but also in all its playable facet. The production, which also includes Resident Evil: Resistance, an asymmetric 4-on-1 multiplayer mode, dispenses with the mercenary mode, but introduces many other new features.

April 3 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC

Despite the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), Resident Evil 3 Remake will maintain its release date, that is, April 3, 2020. A possible shortage of units in physical format has not been reported, although given the Circumstances, which advocate working only on essential services, it would not hurt to take a look at the digital edition, available in all its versions, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, the latter available on Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Capcom has prepared a single digital edition, which comes with a copy of the game and costs 59.99 euros on console and PC (PSN, Xbox Live and Steam). As a booking incentive, a pack of classic outfits is given away, as well as a dynamic theme on the Sony console.

As for the physical editions, there are only two different ones. The standard, which can be obtained for 59.99 euros in stores like GAME, also includes the pack of classic outfits. The jewel in the crown, however, is the Collector's Edition, which in Spain is exclusive to the same chain of times. It has a price of 269.95 euros, but the units are very limited and in principle it is no longer eligible. These are its contents:

  • Double-sided poster
  • Soundtrack on two discs
  • Art book
  • Jill Valentine figure
  • Complete set with lenticular box
