Already with the release of 'Mortal Kombat 11' about a year ago there were indications that Ash Williams from Evil Dead will appear as a DLC character in the game.
In addition to Ash, Spawn was already found in the game files, which has now been confirmed and is available in the game. The official newsletter from Warner Bros. reveals today that Ash Williams is next in his role from 'Evil Dead 3: Army of Darkness'.
In it, the character is mentioned in the footnote with a corresponding reference to the license rights at Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer, which should be a confirmation. Actor Bruce Campbell also mentioned less recently that he will have an appearance in the game.
Ash Williams' announcement as a DLC character is likely to take place soon.
