Rayman Legends, free game on Uplay

Rayman Legends, free game on Uplay

The platform game is available for free for a limited time in the Ubisoft store, in its standard edition.

In these times of coronavirus (COVID-19), having extra entertainment is no nonsense. Many studios have gone out of their way to confine people and have offered free games and video games. Ubisoft itself, which did the same with Child of Light, repeats with one of its most awarded titles, Rayman Legends, which can be obtained permanently in the Uplay games library for a limited time (until April 3). This is the standard edition, although Michel Ancel's work is included in Uplay +, the company's subscription service.

This colorful game, a sequel to Rayman Origins, originally came out on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and PC, but was later released on many of today's platforms. Rayman returned for the last time to date, that if we do not count the title developed for Apple Arcade, Rayman Mini, a game that is not exactly like these installments. And what is Rayman Legends like? A colorful platform with plenty of challenges.

Beyond Good & Evil 2, from the creators of Rayman Legends

The team led by Michel Ancel is not working on a new sequel to this saga, but is outlining another of the most anticipated returns, Beyond Good & Evil 2, a prequel to the original that bets on the open world and a style of different game. At the moment there is no more information about it, so we will have to wait until Ubisoft decides to show everything that is stored in the top hat.

The truth is that the French company has had to change plans due to the failure of Ghost Recon Breakpoint and The Division 2, which have not met sales expectations. In the latter case, the problem is not so much the game itself, while in the second they have set out to redefine some aspects of the gameplay. In fact, in order to re-engage players, they have just announced a trial version and the Friend Pass, through which the owner of the game can invite friends who do not have it to a cooperative game.
